"The Colosseum is a popular attraction and the lines can be extremely long. If it's not already included in your tour, purchase your tickets online in advance to skip the lines and ensure entry."
What is your favourite thing to see in the Roman Forum?
"Temple of Saturn. This ancient temple is one of the oldest structures in the Forum and has historical importance as it housed the state treasury."

"I love Italy for various reasons. The Italian language is incredibly beautiful to me. The people are warm and friendly. The music, the landscapes and of course the best food ever!!!"

Favourite time of year to visit Italy
"The weather in September, particularly in Sicily, was delightful. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend planning your Italian journey between May and October."
Where did you eat the best food in Italy?
"I had the best pizza in Naples, the yummiest street food in Sicily, the best focaccia in Cinque Terre, the most delicious ice cream in Bologna, and amazing gnocchi in Sorrento. Italy's food was fantastic!"
If you were to revisit Italy, is there a particular region or city you'd like to explore further?
"I'd really like to go back to Naples because my last visit was really short. I would also love to visit the western part of Sicily. Oh, and guess what? I've already booked a trip back to Rome ;)"

"Florence is so beautiful and old, that every corner of this city is a treat for the eyes. If you're going to get lost in a city... this is the place to do it!"

"Florence is a walkable city, and you should walk it to truly enjoy it. So bring walking shoes! Don't forget your camera as you'll be taking pictures all day."
Any advice for an enjoyable trip?
"If you're not already on a tour, plan your visits to the main attractions in advance. Florence is a busy city and to visit the main sights you'll want to book skip-the-line tickets in advance. The earlier the better!"
Are there any unique experiences in Florence?
"Florence is home to the world's oldest perfumery! Head over to the Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella. It's beautiful, full of history and you can buy some unique perfumes!"

"Its porticoes! In fact, Bologna's porticoes are now a world heritage site. With 62km of them covering the whole city, they are perfect for any weather AND incredibly photogenic."
A must-do in Bologna?
"Eat! Bologna is Italy's food capital and boy do you know it when you're here! From bolognese to tortellini en brodo, it's all delicious. You must do a cooking class with a local!"
What do you love most about Bologna?
"Bologna is unlike other major Italian cities because it still feels like an authentically Italian city. You'll get a true Italian experience here!"
Top sights?
"Climb one of Bologna's towers (be warned they're steep), hang out in Piazza Maggiore and visit the oldest university in the world. Grab the bus up to San Luca too for the best views!"

"Your camera will get a workout here. It is unbelievably photogenic! Make sure you pack good walking shoes for all the tower climbing and portico wandering you'll do!"

"Let me show you!"
What are your favourite places in Tuscany?
"If you visit Tuscany then you must go to Florence. It is the capital of Tuscany and the birthplace of the Renaissance! It is home to many famous art pieces and museums, as well as iconic architecture!"
Another must-visit?
"Then of course there’s the Leaning Tower of Pisa. While it’s a tourist hotspot, it’s well worth the hype! You really only need a few hours here so I’d recommend taking a day trip or tour from Florence."
A favourite place fo yours?
"Siena! It’s, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful and idyllic towns in Tuscany. While it’s not a huge city, it still offers just as much as Florence and has a quaint vibe."
What is your favourite thing to do in Tuscany?
"Go wine tasting, duh! When you think of wine, vineyards, and rolling hills, you probably think of Tuscany, right? And for good reason!"
