Our National Escorts and guides will conduct a Health and Safety briefing with you before the tour begins and will help everyone ensure they adhere to social distancing, hygiene practices and local regulations. They will carry a supply of face masks and hand sanitiser for you to use free of charge and will, of course, observe the highest level of personal hygiene at all times.

Vehicles will be spotless and disinfected with disinfectant after each excursion service, overnight and between different groups.


You will always have at least one seat between you and your fellow tourers, hand sanitiser will be given to the group on each embarkation and vehicles will be thoroughly ventilated prior to passengers boarding.


Drivers will always embark on vehicles after clients, disembark the group vehicle prior to clients disembarking and maintain social distancing and a high level of personal hygiene at all times.


Your guides will assess the situation on the ground avoiding large crowds – where possible, alter timings and splitting the group into smaller sizes.


Wendy Wu Tours will only offer hotels that have undergone a detailed hygiene assessment, have specific COVID-19 protocols in place and comply with government standards.


We will ensure these protocols include staff practising social distancing and wearing appropriate PPI, regular cleaning and disinfection of high-frequency touchpoints in all areas and food safety.

Our Group Tours are inclusive of international flights, current taxes and fuel surcharges, on tour transportation, accommodation, daily tours including entrance fees, National Escort and/or Local Guides and visa fees for UK passport holders. On our Classic tours, all meals are included too, whilst on Immerse Yourself and Exclusive Collection tours some meals are included, to offer a little more freedom. All you have to pay locally is tipping and personal expenditure, including any optional excursions and show, and your Laos visa (where applicable). Private Tours vary, depending on the itinerary.

Climate Care
In our UK office, we have guidelines in place to keep the usage of paper at a minimum, recycle most of the paper we use, are sourcing environmentally friendly office and marketing supplies wherever possible, and facilitate alternative and sustainable modes of transport to work.

Wendy Wu Tours has also teamed up with JP Morgan's Climate Care to enable our customers to offset some of the greenhouse gas emissions caused by their holiday and to play a part in tackling climate change. We ourselves are off-setting 10 tonnes of CO2 emissions every year to make up for some of the carbon footprint caused by our office.

Climate Care uses the money generated by this scheme to fund a portfolio of projects around the world that reduces emissions. ....less
