Day 1 : Arrival At Kochi

Today morning after breakfast at hotel, later proceed for full day sightseeing tour to Kochi visit Fort Kochi, St.Francis Church, Jewish synagogue, Mattancherry Palace "Dutch Palace" and Chinese Fishing Market. Evening enjoy the Kathakali dance show, one of India's most famous classical dances with lavish costumes, exotic makeup & masks intensify the beauty of the dancers, intricate moments.

Day 3 : Kochi - Munnar (130 Kms / 4 Hrs)

Location: Munnar, Eravikulam National Park

Today morning after breakfast and check out from hotel later drive to Munnar “Scenic hills of Kerala” and en-route enjoy the scenic beauty & the marvelous waterfalls of Kerala, with high mountains and the low flying clouds passing by. Upon arrival at Munnar check-in to the hotel for night stay. Later visit the Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Old Munnar Town and the town market.

In the evening, enjoy a walk at Tea Estate or free for own activities.

Day 4 : Munnar - Periyar/Thekkady (98 Kms / 3:30 Hrs)

Today morning after breakfast at hotel, later check out from hotel and drive to Periyar. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary one of the biggest wildlife sanctuaries in India's which covers 777 Sq. Kms (300 Sq. miles) for a Tiger Reserve. Upon arrival at Periyar National Park check-in to the hotel for night stay. Later proceed for cardamom plantation areas.

Day 5 : At Periyar/Thekkady

Location: Periyar

Day 6 : Periyar/Thekkady - Alleppey (128 Kms / 3:30 Hrs)

Today morning after breakfast at hotel, later check out and proceed for backwater to enjoy the houseboat journey.

Upon arrival at Alleppey check-in to your houseboat for night stay. Later proceed for backwaters & lagoons on Alappuzha, Enjoy your lunch and dinner at houseboat. Evening walk around the local street of Alappuzha.

Day 7 : Alleppey - Kumarakom (32 Kms / 1 Hrs)

Upon arrival at Kumarakom check-in to the hotel for night stay. The trip was all that we had hoped. Our driver, important to the trip's success. He not only navigated in such a way that we felt safe at all time, he answered our questions on many topics about India and helped us find particular stores that we wanted to visit to buy organic teas, sandalwood soap,and books about the history of India. The hotels were excellent.

Amazing tour to Kerala

We booked this trip one week before we went. We usually research these trips well in advance. The trip I would recommend we had our own private driver the whole time and his knowledge of Kerala was good. It was an amazing experience to me that was a beautiful place.
