Day 1 : Arrival At Kathmandu Airport
Location: Tribhuvan International Airport

Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, our representative will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. Your trek leader will conduct a comprehensive pre-trip orientation and briefing at the hotel. This is the perfect time to ask last-minute questions regarding what to expect on the upcoming trip. Pro tip: If you arrive in Kathmandu early, you can explore the bustling streets of Thamel. Your tour manager can help you to make the arrangements.

Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing And Trek Preparation
Location: Kathmandu, Pashupatinath Temple, Buddha Stupa, Swoyambhu Mahachaitya, Basantapur

After your breakfast, our trekking guide will check all your items before departure; if some items are missing, he will help to get them from the market or hire some items.

After that, we start the sightseeing tour. Visit temples, and stupas and experience local culture. The full day of sightseeing will provide beautiful insights into Nepalese culture and history. You will explore the streets and monuments of Basantapur Durbar Square. It is a UNESCO heritage site that holds the old royal palace, Kumari Bahal, and many other temples and Monuments. The Newars are the inhabitants of this area, and you will experience the Newar culture while walking through narrow streets of Ason. After extensive walking around the heart of Kathmandu,drive to Swayambhunath, located on top of a hill west of Kathmandu city. It is also called the monkey temple; you can see the whole valley from the top of the hill. It is one of the holiest pilgrimage sites for Buddhists worldwide. In the evening, drive to Pashupatinath temple and attend the holy evening aarti. The devotees pray while priests hold the holy flame made up of ghee and chant mantras. The blissful environment around the Pashupatinath temple is amazing.

Day 3 : Drive To Syabrubeshi
Location: Hotel Garden inn Shyfru Bensi

You will be picked up at the hotel early in the morning to leave for Syabrubeshi. The jeep drive is more suitable for the rocky and graveled road to Syabrubeshi. The drive will be an adventure with many views of rivers, villages, and ancient buildings. You can see the scenic and beautiful rice fields, local people in their fields, and mountains getting closer as you move forward. The road trip will end when you reach Syabrubeshi.

Day 4 : Trek To Lama Hotel

Start the trek from Syabrubeshi to lama hotel early in the morning. The trek is around 11.6 km, and takes around 6 hours to reach lama hotel from Syabrubeshi. You will cross Bhote Koshi through the suspension bridge. The trails get steeper through the jungle, and you might be able to see Langur monkeys. After the walk-through of the Rhododendron and bamboo forest, you will reach Changtang, which is popular by the name of lama hotel.

Day 5 : Trek To Mundu Via Langtang Valley
Location: Langtang Valley

Trek in the early morning from lama hotel to Langtang valley. The trek distance is 14.7 km, and takes around 7 hours to reach Mundu from lama hotel. You will walk an uphill trail along the tree lines of rhododendron, oaks, and maple trees and might even see Danphe (national bird of Nepal). After the gradual climb, you will be able to see the Langtang lirung (7234m). The valley gets visible and wider after the uphill hike from Ghoda Tabela. You will see temporary settlements of herders and yaks grazing in the valley fields. You will enter Mundu village inside Langtang National Park.

Day 6 : Trek To Kyanjin Gompa

Wake up early and leave for kyanjin gompa. The trek from Mundu to kyanjin gompa is around 6 km, but the altitude reaches 3870m ASL. It takes around 4 to 5 hours to reach kyanjin gompa. You will pass villages, yak pastures, cross streams and ridges to reach kyanjin gompa. This day's highlight will be leisurely walking and soaking up all the scenery. You can see the great views of Dorje Lakpa (6966m), Langtang Ri (7205m), Langtang Lirung (7234m) from kyanjin gompa. Visit the cheese factory, kyanjin monastery, local houses if you reach there early.

Day 7 : Acclimatization Day - Hike Tserko-Ri And Back To Kyanjin Gompa
Location: Tsergo Ri, Kyanjin Gompa

Wake up early in the morning. You will climb to the altitude of 5000m ASL of Tserko-Ri to acclimatize. The walk distance from Kyanjin Gompa to Tserko-Ri is 17.7 km and takes around 8 hours to reach there and return. The trail to Tserko-Ri passes through yak pasture and Laja Khola. the rough steep climb to the top will give you a view of the Langtang range, including Langtang Lirung (7234m), Tserko Peak (5749m), Yala Peak (5500m). Enjoy the amazing glaciers and mountains all around you. You will reach back to Kyanjin Gompa in the late afternoon.

Day 8 : Trek Down To Lama Hotel

Wake up early and retrace the steps to lama hotel. The trek will take only 6-7 hours, giving you an opportunity for a slower descend. The walk will be downhill, so it will be easier to reach lama hotel. You will walk, passing the rhododendron forests and Tamang villages’.you will be able to enjoy the views you haven’t seen while climbing the same path.

Day 9 : Lama Hotel To Syabrubeshi
Location: Hotel Garden inn Shyfru Bensi

Wake up early in the morning and leave for Syabrubeshi. Around 5 hours of downhill trek will take you to Syabrubesi. Take it easy and descend slowly. You will walk the quite dense forest hill back to Syabrubeshi. The view while walking downhill will be spectacular. It will be much easier while retracing the steps back to Syabrubeshi because of the inclination.

Day 10 : Syabrubeshi To Kathmandu

Wake up early and have your breakfast. The vehicle usually leaves when it is full. The early you leave, the early you will reach Kathmandu. In the evening, roam around the streets of Thamel. Buy souvenirs and Thankas. Have a drink or two. If you want, attend a club. And celebrate the victory over hills.

Day 11 : Final Departure
