This incredible tour will provide you with the opportunity to explore Germany, a country rich in culture, history, and magnificent landscapes. Start with its capital, Berlin, see the famous historic centres, museums and architectural complexes. Travelling south, explore the beautiful palace in the city Dresden. Take a moment to admire the “Little Venice” that is the Bamberg city. Experience a boat cruise along the Danube Valley in the pristine area of “Danube Gorges”. Spend some time in the gorgeous landscapes of Landshut, one of Germanys most charming villages. Absorb the countrys history while exploring the Christmas Museum in Rothenburg that holds numerous fascinating exhibits. Travel through the gorgeous alpine summits to Fussen, wherein you will get a panoramic view of the Neuschwanstein Castle, a 19th century Romanesque Revival palace. On this journey, you will also traverse through classic German cities displaying each their unique styles of architecture such as Cologne, Hamelin, and Hannover, before travelling back to Berlin to end your trip.

Day 1: Berlin
Welcome to Germany! Today on your arrival to Berlin you will be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you will have time to explore the city at your leisure.

Day 2: Berlin (B/-/-)
After breakfast, Ease your way into the local culture with a guided tour of Germanys incredible capital, Berlin. We will visit the historic center, Museum Island, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate and the citys magnificent parks. We continued our visit by stopping at the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Museum. This visit can help us to understand the difficult situation the city experienced during the Twentieth Century. Leisure time to explore the city.

Day 3: Berlin — Dresden — Bamberg — Nuremberg (B/-/-)
Today we will travel to Dresden, a city on the river Elba where we can admire its palace. We go on to Bavaria and our arrival in Bamberg, a very beautiful city full of life; dont miss Little Venice! We continue to Nuremberg, the second largest city in Bavaria, and a city of great history where we suggest a visit to the place where Hitlers Coliseum stood.

Day 4: Nuremberg – Kloster – Weltenburg - Landshut – Dachau – Munich (B/-/-)
Todays journey is one of great surprises. From Kelheim we board a boat to make a short cruise along the Danube Valley, in the Danube Gorges. We come to Kloster Weltenburg, a very beautiful Benedictine monastery founded in 1040, where we have time to visit before going on to Landshut, one of Germanys prettiest villages and time for lunch. We continue to Dachau where we will visit the museum of the Nazi concentration camp. In mid-afternoon, we reach Munich, where we visit the impressive BMW WELT Complex, the very modern multifunctional exhibition facility of the prestigious German vehicle group BMW. We also see the park where the Olympia stadium stands in its architectural beauty and where the famous Olympic Games of 1972 were held. After this, free time in the historic centre to enjoy the typical beer houses.

Day 5: Munich – Fussen – Rothenburg – Frankfurt (B/-/-)
Amidst alpine summits and very beautiful scenery, we traveled to Fussen and the Neuschwanstein Castle. We get on a bus to Maria Bridge and admire the fantastic scenery of this little bridge between the hills. You can either return on foot or horse and cart (not included). After this, continuing with our romantic route, we travel to ROTHENBURG, a very pretty city surrounded by walls, where we enter the beautiful Christmas Museum (entrance included). Next FRANKFURT, Germanys financial capital.

Day 6: Frankfurt – Cruise On The Rhine – Cochem – Bonn - Cologne – Dusseldorf (B/-/-)
Today we will see the valleys of the Rhine and Mosel, two rivers loaded with history and sprinkled with charming villages. We take a short cruise on the Rhine, between the villages of Rudesheim and St. Goar, undoubtedly the most picturesque section of the river. Then we will go on to the river Mosel, and will have time for lunch in Cochem, a very picturesque village on the bank of the river. After that, we traveled to Bonn, the city of music where Beethoven and Schumann lived. Time to stroll in the former capital of the Federal Republic of Germany. In the afternoon we will arrive in Cologne, time for a stroll in the busy area of the cathedral before going on to our hotel in Dusseldorf.

Day 7: Dusseldorf – Zollverein – Hamelin – Hannover (B/-/-)
A stroll in Dusseldorf, a city on the banks of the Rhine and in the centre of Germanys most industrial region. We continue to Zollverein, which is one of the most important points on the “European route of industrial and heritage”, where we visit its Coal Mine Industrial Complex, declared World Heritage. We proceed northbound, stopping in Hamelin, a city made famous due to the Pied Piper. After following in the footsteps of the mice, we continue to Hannover, where we have time to visit the center of this thriving city.

Day 8: Hannover – Goslar – Quedlinburg - Berlin (B/-/-)
Free time at Hannover before continuing the route to Goslar; We are in one of the most beautiful villages of Germany, with its wooden architecture, its walls and its squares. Time to walk and have lunch. We continue to Quedlinburg, a city declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO due to its fascinating historic center of more than 2100 half-timbered girder houses that have managed to survive almost unscathed for centuries. It is also noteworthy for its town hall and castle. Continuation to Berlin. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore the city.

Day 9: Berlin — Usa/Canada (B/-/-)
After breakfast at the hotel, you make your own way to the international airport of Berlin for your return flight home.

What happens if I need to change my holiday date once I’ve booked?
Changes to an existing reservation up to the Final Payment Date, whatever the cause, will incur a $100 per person amendment fee, potential loss of any supplier fees (such as non-refundable event tickets, park permits, and sea cruise reservations) plus any costs for replacement services. On/ after the Final Payment Date, the $100 change fee is no longer valid, instead cancellations terms apply.
