Day 1: Copenhagen Arrival (-/-/-)

Welcome to Copenhagen! Upon arriving at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. You can enjoy free time in the area until your tour begins. Check the information board in the hotel reception area for details regarding the meeting place, time, and the guide's name. In Copenhagen, one thousand years of history awaits you in the medieval streets; the same streets that were walked on by every generation of the world's oldest royal family - the same streets and canals which have inspired artists for centuries and were home to meticulous craftsmen and famous designers. Spend some time at leisure to explore the city or unwind in your hotel room.

Overnight in Copenhagen

Day 2: Copenhagen (B/-/-)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will meet your tour guide to start your comprehensive tour of the Danish capital. Copenhagen is the largest city in Scandinavia and is full of contrasts. You will pass by the beautiful Tivoli Gardens and cruise past Christiansborgs Palace, a majestic residence home to the Danish Parliament. Drive past the National Museum and the Royal Theater. Next, head on over to The Little Mermaid, Denmarks most popular attraction and one of the most photographed statues in the world. Snap a great shot of this beautiful sculpture perched on a rock beside the ocean. Your tour will end with a drop-off at the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. We highly recommend visiting the pastel-colored waterfront houses in the Nyhavn area. Drop in at an industrial-chic bar for a drink, or stroll around the famous Tivoli Gardens, home to one of the oldest operating rollercoasters in the world. Another area worth checking out is Norrebro - a residential area known for its wide range of restaurants.

Overnight in Copenhagen

Day 3: Copenhagen — Jonkoping — Mariefred — Stockholm (B/-/-)

After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, check out and travel towards Helsingor, the City of Hamlet, where the great Kronborg Castle stands. From there your journey will take you to Sweden, as you travel through beautiful landscapes with large lakes and lush forests you reach Jonkoping, a city on the shores of Lake Vattern in Southern Sweden. Jonkoping is known for its long lakeside beach - Vatterstranden. In the center lies the 19th-century Sofia Church, with its neo-Gothic design and towering spire. Spend some time exploring the small city and have lunch (at your own expense). From there you will travel to Mariefred, a picturesque town known for its traditional houses, marina, and castle, where you will have time to stroll around. Then, head on over to Stockholm, where you will arrive in the late evening.

Overnight in Stockholm

Day 4: Stockholm (B/-/-)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will head out on a panoramic tour of Stockholm, the exquisite capital of Sweden built on 13 islands that were joined together. You will see the Gamla Stan or the “City Between the Bridges”, the old quarter of the city, full of life where there are many monumental buildings such as the Nobel Prize Museum along Stortorget Square, which pays tribute to the winners of the Nobel Prizes, the Cathedral, and the Royal Palace. Whenever possible, you will see a beautiful view from the Fjallgatan viewpoint. With this tour, you will truly get to know Stockholm and the rich history behind the city. After this tour, you will return to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to further explore the city at your own pace or to unwind in your hotel. We recommend visiting the City Hall or the Vasa Museum-Ship.

Overnight in Stockholm

Day 5: Stockholm — Turku (B/-/-)

Spend the morning at leisure to explore this beautiful city at your own pace. Pay a visit to one of the art galleries or museums in Stockholm (there are over 100 museums in this city), or perhaps shop for a few interesting souvenirs, or try shopping on Kungsgatan (which translates to \"King's Street\"). Head on a stroll along the harbor or try steaming sweet Swedish cinnamon rolls in Stortoget. In the evening you will proceed to the port to board your ferry to Türkiye, sailing through the Stockholm Archipelago past many breathtaking small islands.

Carry your travel documents as the same will be required when boarding. Prepare hand luggage (carry-on) - the main luggage will remain in the coach. Do not forget to pack warm clothing to enjoy your time on the deck.

The ferry features: Restaurant, bar, nightclub, casino, shops, and ample rooms.

Overnight Onboard the Ferry

Day 6: Turku — Naantali — Helsinki (B/-/-)

After a delicious breakfast, we recommend you to go to the ship deck at sunrise as you sail to Finland, traveling along the Aland Islands - a stunning collection of over 100 forest-covered islands. Upon disembarkation in Turku, take some time to walk around the city. Turku is the oldest city in Finland and was the first capital. The history of Turku dates back to the 13th century when the Dominican Monastery was founded here in 1249. After a tour of Turku, you will head on a short drive to Naantali, a picturesque town with wooden houses next to the sea. Major attractions include the Naantali Cathedral and the beautiful marina, lined with restaurants and cafes. The terraces overlooking the archipelago are a great place to stop and have coffee. From there, you will travel to Helsinki. The rest of the day will be free at leisure. Take the opportunity to get to know this city, with its old market and Russian influence in the buildings and churches.

Overnight in Helsinki

Day 7: Helsinki (B/-/-)

In the morning you will visit the Helsinki Market Square to board your ferry to Suomenlinna, one of the largest sea fortresses in the world, which sprawls across a series of six small islands, dating back to the mid-18th century. Suomenlinna Island is home to roughly 800 locals and is a famous World Heritage Site dubbed by UNESCO. Explore the Jetty Barracks, the King's Gate, and the Suomenlinna Church. See some of the fortress 200 buildings and 3.7 miles (6 kilometers) of stone walls, and take in the sweeping views of the sea from the sheer ramparts. Learn more about the history of Helsinki and much more. Your tour will end with a return ferry back to the Helsinki Market Square.

Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Uncover a wealth of historic sites and gastronomic splendors in Helsinki on your own time. A few options to consider while you are in the city is to see the cathedral or visit the fascinating Design Museum. Don't miss the harbor-side market and the market hall, dating to 1889, for local oddities!

Booked Mystical Egypt tour with them visiting Cairo and a 03 Nights Cruise from Luxor to Aswan in May. All services were perfect since the time we arrived at the airport, we were met by a hospitable Indus Representative who helped us with the purchase of local SIM and currency exchange. He was always there in time to assist for transfers. The Amwaj Cruise which we took from Luxor to Aswan was a Gem. We had great guides and all sightseeing worked like a clockwork. We enjoyed visiting Karnak Temples, Temples of Edfu, Kom Ombo and the boat ride to see Phillae Temple. Evening entertainment on cruise were great and engaging. In Cairo and Aswan, we had ample leisure time to explore on own, the Pyramids were impressive and visiting Khan e Khalili was fun. Overall and impressive and enjoyable tour, Thanks to Indus Travels!

Indus Travel runs a highly professional organization. From customer service to brochures, bookings, tour guides, etc. and the consideration for their customers is superb. This was the first time I had travelled with Indus Travels. We took the Taste of Portugal Tour. Group numbers are small, accommodation comfortable and food excellent. The expert guide who accompanied us was outstanding - passionate, informative, engaging, and entertaining. This company is obviously at the heart of the itinerary planning, and attention to detail is second to none. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a fun, relaxed, educational vacation with fine food - they will deliver! We will never forget this trip and we are already planning for another one to Wonders of Italy, Vienna, Budapest, and Prague.

We were looking for a customized, small group tour. We took a chance on Indus without knowing much about the company. We just returned from our trip to Greece and are more than highly please and satisfied with our experience. They planned an amazing itinerary, booked amazing hotels, hired knowledgeable tour guides and arranged high quality transportation services. Everyone went above and beyond to please us. We are already planning a trip for next year (2024) and will definitely use Indus to do so.

07-Mar-2024

My wife and I along with three friends signed up the tour to Mexico from Indus Travel. The total 12-day Maya Culture trip really gave us opportunities to learn Mexico indigenous cultures thoroughly. We have seen a lot of ruins and pyramids, each of them has different representations and can tell the history of what was happening atthat time. We also had chances to visit the indigenous families toexperence the real Mexican people's life inthe rural area. The views of volcanoes, villages and canyons are also unforgettable. This is a small group with total 7 tourists, our driver/tour guide is a very experienced guide, he explained the history in sequence of events in and out. Most of all with 2500km driving he made us fell safe with his skills. All in all, this trip worths a 5+ star. I was so surprised that Indus Travel assigned a tour coordinator dedicated to our group, Kathlene helped a lot to make the arrangement for the whole trip and made us worry free.

13-Nov-2023

I booked a trip with Indus to South Africa and had a fabulous time! It was easy to book the trip online and any questions I had were answered very quickly by Sabine. The hotels we stayed at were very nice and in good locations. Our tours were well organized and our safari in Kruger National park was definitely a highlight. A few mornings had a bright and early start, but this allowed us to accomplish quite a lot in a day. The hotel restaurants had decent food, which was convenient if we had a longer day and didn't want to go out to eat. Overall, I was very happy with the trip and I felt the price for my tour was excellent value. I would definitely use Indus again!

04-Jan-2024

Exploring Bogota was fantastic - a lively city with so much to see. The Gold Museum was a highlight, taking us on a journey through centuries of history. We spent hours there, fascinated by the detailed exhibits showcasing the rich culture. After Bogota, we flew to St. Andres, a Caribbean paradise. Despite some rain during the 'rainy season,' the island's charm and our packed sightseeing schedule made every moment unforgettable. Activities like mangrove kayaking, snorkeling, and island hopping showcased St. Andres' natural beauty. WE even rescued a sick blue heron during our tour and transferred it to rescue services. The food was another standout. Local cuisine was not only delicious but also budget-friendly, offering a unique blend of flavors. I love seafood especially seviche, and I was trully impress by quality and diversity. But what really made our trip special was the people. Friendliness was everywhere, whether chatting with locals or getting tips on hidden gems. The genuine hospitality added an extra layer of joy to an already amazing journey. Bogota and St. Andres left a lasting impression, going beyond sightseeing to truly experience the heart and soul of these incredible destinations. Big thank you to Indus team, who put together this trip for me. I am looking forward to exploring other South American countries with Indus.

11-Jul-2023

Glimpse of Egypt Quick paced tour taken after Egypt opened back up to tourists, particularly Americans. Went in November and weather was beautiful. Decent hotels and overnight Nile cruise. You will see a lot on this tour and be aware there are some early wake ups. Lots of walking but doable if you're in decent shape. Overall a fun tour with all the sites you have only seen in books!
