About This Trip
This cruise will start in Cologne in Germany and take you through scenic and famous landmarks. You will get a chance to visit the oldest city in the Netherland, Nijmegen. Then you will sail to Rotterdam which is a major European port city and famous for its gigantic seaport. Rotterdam is the center of contemporary architecture, home to the famous cube houses with their Kijk-Kubus (show cube) and the Witte Huis (the White House), the first skyscraper in Europe. Thereafter you will reach Amsterdam and If you want to see Tulips, come with us and see for yourself as this will be the best time of the year to witness the beautiful Tulips blossom. In the Keukenhof flower gardens, they bloom and can be found in all colors and shapes in spring. A visit to Amsterdam is also on the program, with a tour of the famous canals, past the traditional townhouses. The region of North Holland stands above all for idyllic nature and is home to the typical windmills. You will also get the opportunity to experience The Markermeer Lake and IJsselmeer Lakes. Visit Enkhuizen, a beautiful harbor town overlooking IJsselmeer lake and Arnhem best known as the site of one of the infamous battles of World War 2 before ending your journey and returning to the historic city of Cologne.

Step out into a piece of living history today, as you explore Nijmegen, the oldest city in the Netherlands. Built by the Romans over 2,000 years ago. Squeezed between the Rhine, Meuse and Waal rivers in an undulating landscape famed for its excellent wines, hiking and superb natural flora and fauna, this gem of a city features beautifully preserved buildings laced with museums and superb eateries, great shopping and a real laidback lifestyle.

Explore the Europes biggest port city Rotterdam. You will see its impressive skyline, featuring the Euromast tower and the Erasmusbrug bridge spread out before you. You wont be surprised to learn that this is a centre of contemporary architecture, home to the famous cube houses with their Kijk-Kubus (show cube) and the Witte Huis (the White House), the first skyscraper in Europe. The home of the continents largest sea port is a thriving metropolis that doesnt scrimp on cutting-edge buildings or show-stopping international flair. Over the past 20 years, a number of impressive new skyscrapers have sprung up.

Day 4: Enkhuizen – Amsterdam (B/L/D)

The picturesque little town of Enkhuizen in the province of North Holland invites thousands of tourists all year round. During the Golden Age, Enkhuizen recorded even more residents than today. The city defense gate, known as Drommedaris (from 1540), the Waag building (1559), the Zuiderkerk and the classical town hall are testimonies to the prosperity of the past. In addition to this, there's also an idyllic old city with historic buildings, where pretty shops and cozy restaurants have set up home today. You will also visit Zuiderzee Museum is the most important museum in the city. There, you'll get a good impression of the history of Enkhuizen. The museum revives the stories of people who once lived on the shores of the Zuiderzee. The five-acre Open Air Museum, offers visitors a glimpse of more than 140 historical buildings.

In the afternoon enjoy \"Highlights of Amsterdam\" with a canal tour. With Amsterdam you can expect a city that is as vibrant as it is diverse. A modern attitude towards life and the flair of the golden age combine to create an incomparable symbiosis. State-of-the-art architecture and trendy bars can be found here as well as idyllic cafés, flea markets and traditional canal houses. Nowhere in the world are there so many listed old buildings from past centuries as in the Dutch metropolis. The houses are so close together, as if they had to give each other support so as not to fall over. The canals give the city a special charm and remind you at every turn that you are at the heart of a seafaring and trading nation. They form a canal system that runs through the entire urban area and thus shapes the face of the city. Meanwhile, the multitude of canals extends over a total length of 80 kilometers, which has earned the city the nickname \"Venice of the North.

Day 8: Cologne (Disembarkation) – Usa / Canada (B/-/-)

If I need one, who is responsible to obtain my visa?

What happens if I need to change my holiday date once I’ve booked?
Changes to an existing reservation up to the Final Payment Date, whatever the cause, will incur a $100 per person amendment fee, potential loss of any supplier fees (such as non-refundable event tickets, park permits, and sea cruise reservations) plus any costs for replacement services. On/ after the Final Payment Date, the $100 change fee is no longer valid, instead cancellations terms apply.
