Day 1: Casablanca (-/-/D)

Location: Casablanca

Welcome to Morocco! Casablanca, a sprawling metropolis that is the economic and cultural capital of Morocco. On arrival at Casablanca Mohamed V International Airport in Casablanca you will be met by your tour guide and taken to the tour coach for the transfer to the hotel. This evening enjoy dinner at the world-famous Ricks Café.

Overnight in Casablanca

Day 2: Casablanca - Meknes - Volubilis - Fes (B/L/D)

Location: Fes

This morning depart for Meknes the second imperial city for a brief panoramic tour before heading to Volubilis, a truly impressive setting selected by UNESCO as a world heritage site. At the foot of Jebel Zerhoun, lie the Roman ruins of Volubilis. The remains of Volubilis, identified by Tissot in 1874, bear witness to the grandeur of the former residence of King Juba II. Afterwards we will visit a vineyard for wine tasting with goat cheese and a light lunch. We will then drive to the oldest of the Imperial cities, Fes. This evening enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. You will enjoy traditional Moroccan gastronomic cuisine with a menu incorporating an amazing succession of flavours with ambient music playing in the background.

Overnight in Fes

Day 3: Fez (B/L/D)

Location: Fez

This morning participate in a cooking work shop at the Riad Palais Amani, a traditional house centered around a patio planted with orange and lemon trees. How the Jewish presence came about in Morocco is a source of historical debate but their presence in the country for over two thousand years is undeniable. This presence has not only marked Moroccan culinary traditions with flavours, spices, and methods, but many Jewish rituals and traditions are infused with Moroccan history, culture, even the language to this day. The aim of todays Moroccan Jewish Culinary Heritage Workshop is to introduce you to some of the dishes that marry Jewish celebrations throughout the world with Moroccan cuisine. You will learn how to create a dish, passed down through the generations. You will visit the medina and the souk with the chef to pick the best ingredients before returning to the Palais Amani to prepare your food. Spend the afternoon exploring Fes, Moroccos spiritual and intellectual capital and home to the largest old Medina in the world. Begin with a panoramic view of the old medina before venturing to the heart of the medina. The citys numerous monuments have thousands of stories to tell visitors. Youll stop to see Jemaa Karaouyine, the first university established in the world, and then Madrasa Bou Inania, a beautiful 14th century school that is still a center for education and worship. The Madrasa features an open courtyard with exceptional handcrafted walls of tile, plasterwork, and arches. The workmanship of cedar and green stone motif is exquisite, as is the minaret towering above. Nearby is the gorgeous Bab Boujloud, or Blue Gate, the monumental entrance to the Old Medina. Seeing the minarets and the houses through its arched opening makes an exciting introduction to Fes. As you enter the gate, note that the color of the mosaics change: the outside blue reflects the colour of Fes, while the inside green is the color of Islam. Youll visit the Tanneries, where leather is seen soaking in the colourful vats of dye, and the artisan quarters where the craftsmen of the El Attarine Souks offer a non-stop spectacle. For hundreds of years such work has been regulated by traditional guilds, ensuring that its quality is worthy of the city. Each district has its own specialty: cobalt blue enamelled pottery, carpets, wrought iron, etc. In the Medina – a labyrinth of narrow, winding streets – the alleyways are crammed full of stalls and workshops. This is the famed commercial centre and shoppers paradise. Beautiful goods beckon from this incredible maze: cotton fabric, silk, brocade work, leather slippers, and much more.  This evening enjoy dinner at the Riad.

Overnight in Fes

Day 4: Fes - Rabat - Marrakech (B/L/D)

Location: Marrakech

This morning, we bid farewell to Fes and depart for Rabat the Administrative Capital to visit the Royal Palace (Mechouar), Mohamed V Mausoleum and Hassan Tower Mosque. Enroute enjoy a seafood lunch. Then continue on to Marrakech The imperial city of Marrakech is an alluring oasis with a temperate climate, distinct charm, and fascinating sights. This evening enjoy dinner at your hotel. Dishes here offer a multitude of spicy notes and aromas; a feast for the senses with modern Moroccan gastronomy - tradition joins forces with the present.

Overnight in Marrakech

This is the heart of Marrakech, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Crowded with snake charmers, entertainers, story tellers, fortune tellers, musicians, barbers, and sellers of fruit, water, and spices, the square is symbolic of Marrakechs magical charm. Enjoy dinner at Dar Yaccout with its breath-taking panoramic view from the terrace overlooking the medina and the Koutoubia Mosque.

Booked Mystical Egypt tour with them visiting Cairo and a 03 Nights Cruise from Luxor to Aswan in May. All services were perfect since the time we arrived at the airport, we were met by a hospitable Indus Representative who helped us with the purchase of local SIM and currency exchange. He was always there in time to assist for transfers. The Amwaj Cruise which we took from Luxor to Aswan was a Gem. We had great guides and all sightseeing worked like a clockwork. We enjoyed visiting Karnak Temples, Temples of Edfu, Kom Ombo and the boat ride to see Phillae Temple. Evening entertainment on cruise were great and engaging. In Cairo and Aswan, we had ample leisure time to explore on own, the Pyramids were impressive and visiting Khan e Khalili was fun. Overall and impressive and enjoyable tour, Thanks to Indus Travels!

Indus Travel runs a highly professional organization. From customer service to brochures, bookings, tour guides, etc. and the consideration for their customers is superb. This was the first time I had travelled with Indus Travels. We took the Taste of Portugal Tour. Group numbers are small, accommodation comfortable and food excellent. The expert guide who accompanied us was outstanding - passionate, informative, engaging, and entertaining. This company is obviously at the heart of the itinerary planning, and attention to detail is second to none. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a fun, relaxed, educational vacation with fine food - they will deliver! We will never forget this trip and we are already planning for another one to Wonders of Italy, Vienna, Budapest, and Prague.

We were looking for a customized, small group tour. We took a chance on Indus without knowing much about the company. We just returned from our trip to Greece and are more than highly please and satisfied with our experience. They planned an amazing itinerary, booked amazing hotels, hired knowledgeable tour guides and arranged high quality transportation services. Everyone went above and beyond to please us. We are already planning a trip for next year (2024) and will definitely use Indus to do so.

07-Mar-2024

My wife and I along with three friends signed up the tour to Mexico from Indus Travel. The total 12-day Maya Culture trip really gave us opportunities to learn Mexico indigenous cultures thoroughly. We have seen a lot of ruins and pyramids, each of them has different representations and can tell the history of what was happening atthat time. We also had chances to visit the indigenous families toexperence the real Mexican people's life inthe rural area. The views of volcanoes, villages and canyons are also unforgettable. This is a small group with total 7 tourists, our driver/tour guide is a very experienced guide, he explained the history in sequence of events in and out. Most of all with 2500km driving he made us fell safe with his skills. All in all, this trip worths a 5+ star. I was so surprised that Indus Travel assigned a tour coordinator dedicated to our group, Kathlene helped a lot to make the arrangement for the whole trip and made us worry free.

13-Nov-2023

I booked a trip with Indus to South Africa and had a fabulous time! It was easy to book the trip online and any questions I had were answered very quickly by Sabine. The hotels we stayed at were very nice and in good locations. Our tours were well organized and our safari in Kruger National park was definitely a highlight. A few mornings had a bright and early start, but this allowed us to accomplish quite a lot in a day. The hotel restaurants had decent food, which was convenient if we had a longer day and didn't want to go out to eat. Overall, I was very happy with the trip and I felt the price for my tour was excellent value. I would definitely use Indus again!

04-Jan-2024

Exploring Bogota was fantastic - a lively city with so much to see. The Gold Museum was a highlight, taking us on a journey through centuries of history. We spent hours there, fascinated by the detailed exhibits showcasing the rich culture. After Bogota, we flew to St. Andres, a Caribbean paradise. Despite some rain during the 'rainy season,' the island's charm and our packed sightseeing schedule made every moment unforgettable. Activities like mangrove kayaking, snorkeling, and island hopping showcased St. Andres' natural beauty. WE even rescued a sick blue heron during our tour and transferred it to rescue services. The food was another standout. Local cuisine was not only delicious but also budget-friendly, offering a unique blend of flavors. I love seafood especially seviche, and I was trully impress by quality and diversity. But what really made our trip special was the people. Friendliness was everywhere, whether chatting with locals or getting tips on hidden gems. The genuine hospitality added an extra layer of joy to an already amazing journey. Bogota and St. Andres left a lasting impression, going beyond sightseeing to truly experience the heart and soul of these incredible destinations. Big thank you to Indus team, who put together this trip for me. I am looking forward to exploring other South American countries with Indus.

11-Jul-2023

Glimpse of Egypt Quick paced tour taken after Egypt opened back up to tourists, particularly Americans. Went in November and weather was beautiful. Decent hotels and overnight Nile cruise. You will see a lot on this tour and be aware there are some early wake ups. Lots of walking but doable if you're in decent shape. Overall a fun tour with all the sites you have only seen in books!
